Insomnia Film Festival-Part 2

Insomnia Teams need to be discussing their ideas for the movies on November 15. This is an all day event. We are asking that you donate $1.00 to the Soda Fund. This will help provide drinks for the day. Please see Mrs. Smith with your $1.00 donation.

Final Cut Pro Test-Round Two

2nd year students interested in taking the Final Cut Pro test need to sign up with Mr. K by Monday November 10. The test can be administered on Friday November 14. You need to be studying the Final Cut Pro Book and flash cards!

October 26-My Health Today

Hello All!  

A student from Irving Middle School has requested some help with a production.  He is producing a commercial for the MyHealthToday campaign.  He is shooting on Sunday evening for 2 hours.  He has a storyboard, script, and actor.  He just needs some help with production. 

Dane Schoelen is a very talented student. He was in the Summer Youth Program and did an excellent job.  This would be a nice project to work on.  If you are interested in working with Dane please let me know.

Sports Show-October 14

The DVP Instructors would like to invite 5 students to volunteer for a sports television show.  The show will be shot on location at O'Connells in Norman.  This will be at the new location on Campus Corner in Norman. 

Crew Call time is 5:00.  We will provide 3 cameras and tri-pods for the show.  

Kevin Gerling is the Producer for the show.  The talent are Rick Heath and Jason White.

Insomnia Film Festival

Hello Class! For those of you who are willing to get up early and stay late, the Insomnia Film Festival. The date for the festival is November 15. We can sign up to register on October 22. Project Big Screen

Hello All!
This blog was created for the MNTC DVP Class to discuss and communicate about the Digital Arts Festival. The date and time for the big show are in the process of being approved! Once we know the dates are confirmed we will post them.

The finalized scripts are due October 9. Producers will need to make sure to select a small scene that can be placed in the casting call packet. Give your team the advantage of screening as many actors as you can for your films.

Coming up soon is the Casting Call. The casting call for the films will be October 22 and 23 from 4:30-7:00pm located at the Moore Norman Technology Center. All producers and directors of each film must attend.
